Each person brings their own story to the circle. What’s yours?
COMMUNITY DRUM CIRCLES
Sheridan facilitates a unique experience that is fun, safe and leaves people laughing and connecting. She uses words and phrases that people already know, and once they can sing it, they can play it on the drum! The drum circle is challenging for everyone, as once the beat and patterns are established, the drummers are invited to move into improvisation, making music in the moment. Even beginning drummers are playing in a very short time! The transformation is magical!

DRUM CIRCLES AND RESTORATIVE JUSTICE
Sheridan has been involved in Restorative Justice for many years, and believes drumming can add to the experience of repairing harm. She facilitates Restorative Justice Circles, and adds to the richness her unique skills as a Drum Circle Facilitator. At the beginning of the circle, the attendees feel more at ease because the drum patterns help reduce stress. At the end of the circle, attendees are drumming in celebration of the plan.
HEALING DRUM CIRCLES
Sheridan is able to create the safety needed for healing to begin. She is able to bring even the most resistant person into peace and calming with the way she manages the healing environment. Beginning with sage, she’ll proceed into basic stress-free rhythms to take your mind off the actual drumming and into the journey. Sheridan focuses on going inward, but encourages attendees to always be aware of the community they are in. It is powerful to be witnessed whether drumming or speaking, as the drum helps connect people to each other and to themselves.
